Crown Prosecution Service
The Crown Prosecution Service ( known as the C.P.S ) is the main prosecuting authority for England and Wales : it decides which cases should be prosecuted, advises the police during investigations, and prepares and presents cases in court. It also helps victims and witnesses. Its main mission is to deliver justice independently and fairly.
The CPS has an apprenticeship programme which is open to those looking for administration and management jobs as well as those looking for a career in the law. Fo further information, go to the website: www.cps.gov.uk
